Why us? What do we offer that other companies cannot?
This is a question everyone should be asking before hiring any company to do work for them. What can that company offer that the others cannot? Here are our top reasons why you should consider a HomeTech Video camera system for your home or business.
-Our software and support-
If you have ever owned an off the shelf NVR or DVR camera system you already know how difficult they can be to operate. While the prices of these systems might be tempting, you will most likely just get frustrated with the lack of support they offer. Also, most off the shelf systems have difficult to use antiquated software and phone apps.
Here at HomeTech Video, our systems are very easy to use and are backed with the support you need. Whether you need additional on-site training or just need something changed on your system that can be done with the help of remote support, we are there for you. Take a look at the video below to see how easy our software is to use:

-Camera Resolution and Quality-
This is probably the most important thing to consider when purchasing a camera system. What is the point of having a camera system if you cannot even use the video to identify someone. Here at HomeTech video we offer 2 resolutions of cameras, 1440p and 4k! Most other companies only offer cameras with resolutions of 720p or 1080p. Also, most "cloud storage" companies such as Ring and Arlo only save your video in 720p even though the cameras are advertised as 1080p.

-Customizable Alerts-
With our system you can set custom alerts for different events. For example, want to get a doorbell ding when someone walks up on your front porch? That's not a problem. No need for a doorbell camera to do that. You can get instant alerts the second someone steps on your front porch. Even more, you can get a picture message with who is there.

-24/7 Continuous Recording-
Even though you might think this feature is standard across every company you will quickly find out that it is not. Ring only offers cloud based "motion activated" recording (for a monthly fee) and Nest offers 24/7 recording but at a cost of up to $30/month per camera. Reviews of Nest Cam also state "The Nest Cam can record in full 1080p high definition, but if your internet connection can’t handle that kind of streaming—or if you simply don’t need something that crystal clear— change your video quality." Also they go on saying, "I find that 720p gives me the best balance between quality and data usage, whereas 360p can save a lot of bandwidth, but gives a very blurry image." Source. All of our camera systems record 24/7 at the highest resolution possible (minimum of 1440p) and have a storage capacity of 14 days+ based on your needs. Also there is no need to manually delete old video files. Our system will automatically delete the oldest video clips first - freeing up space for new video to be recorded. |
